February 28 Guided tour of Orihuela Medieval Market with Taquilla Tickets

Step back in time at one of the biggest markets in the Valencian Community

Join the guided tour of Orihuela’s Medieval Market with Taquilla Tickets this Friday February 28. For just 40 euros per person (37.50 euros for Club Members), participants will enjoy return coach travel between Murcia and Orihuela City, a guided tour of some iconic landmarks and free time to explore the market and its many attractions.

The tour will take place in two parts. First, from 10am to approximately 12pm, a guided tour will take visitors through the most important places in Orihuela, including the magnificent Santo Domingo Monastery, which features stunning 16th-century church paintings. The knowledgeable guides will bring the history to life through individual headsets, ensuring that no detail is missed.

Then, from 12pm to 4pm, visitors will step back in time to the Middle Ages at Orihuela’s annual Medieval Market. This year, the market is celebrating its 25th anniversary and is one of the largest in the Valencian Community.

The old part of the town transforms into a medieval wonderland, with stalls, activities and performances that will transport visitors to another era.

Activities include music and dance performances, puppet shows and theatre productions, workshops showcasing ancient professions and the vibrant atmosphere of the medieval market, where the aroma of spices, the colours of crafts and the tastes of medieval foods create a true festival for the senses.

Taquilla Tickets is a fully legal, family-run company that specialises in organising day trips, mini breaks and adventures. All coach outings are covered by public liability insurance.
