German lawyer offers 1,000-euro reward for teddy bear lost in Sevilla

Alev Filya, a German lawyer, is on a mission to reunite with her beloved teddy bear, Hilde. The grey donkey, with a distinctive brown chequered scarf, has been her constant companion for 15 years, and its disappearance in Sevilla has left her heartbroken.

Hilde's story began when Alev's brother gave her the special teddy during a hospital stay, telling her that the stuffed animal would always look after her and that she would recover soon.

And indeed, Hilde has been by Alev's side ever since, travelling with her to various countries and becoming an integral part of her family.

But on a fateful day in May, Hilde vanished while Alev was exploring Sevilla's Plaza de España, along with a bright pink 'Esprit' hat. Despite a frantic search, Hilde was nowhere to be found. Alev is convinced that she must have fallen out of her backpack while she was walking through the city.

Alev last saw Hilde between 2.15pm and 2.25pm on May 8, when she took a photo of the teddy sitting in the lost hat before heading towards the city centre via Calle San Fernando.

Determined to be reunited with her beloved teddy bear, Alev is offering a 1,000 euro reward to anyone who can return Hilde to her. She has even posted a photo of Hilde at the lost and found office at Sevilla City Hall, where the staff is aware of the story and are keeping a lookout for the missing teddy bear.

If you're in Sevilla and happen to stumble upon a grey donkey in a brown chequered scarf, you could be the one to bring Hilde back home. Take her to the lost and found office, and you'll not only be reuniting Alev with her beloved companion but also earning a nice reward.
