Headless body wearing wetsuit washes up on Costa del Sol beach
The victim has not been identified and investigators are awaiting the results of the autopsy

Spanish Police have opened an investigation after the discovery of the lifeless body on a beach in the town of Fuengirola in Málaga of a person wearing a wetsuit and who was in a state of decomposition and missing their head.
This has been confirmed by police sources, who have specified that the deceased has not been identified and that investigators are awaiting the results of the autopsy to determine all the circumstances surrounding the state in which the body has appeared.
The 112 emergency services in Andalucía have specified that around 8.40pm on Wednesday March 5, someone walking along the beach found the body of the man face down in the sand.
From the moment this person alerted the police, the judicial protocol was activated for the removal of the body and the start of the official investigation.
