As was the case with many national festivals in Spain during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, the celebration of the International Purebred Spanish Horse Show in Sevilla was marred by safety restrictions. To this end, the organisers have excitedly announced that the ‘Sicab’ extravaganza will return to the Andalucían city between Tuesday November 16 and Sunday November 21 at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones.

Open to the general public and promising fun for all the family, the event will host several live performances daily and online tickets to access the Sicab facilities actually went on sale in the middle of October. Tickets for the main equestrian shows, however, were made available on Tuesday November 2.

This year the world-famous horse show celebrates its 30th anniversary and spectators can expect a more impressive show than ever. The event is the largest showcase for purebred Spanish equines on the planet and has been running continuously since 1991. The 2021 experience will include the Spanish Horse World Championship and the finals of the ANCCE Cups of Dressage, Cowgirl Dressage, High School, Show Jumping, Horse Riding, Amazon, Work Horse Riding, among other disciplines.

The International Horse Show brings together farmers and breeders from more than 60 countries each year and has led to the municipality being awarded the Sicab 2020 Andalucian Medal.
