A Jet2 flight going from Liverpool Airport to Tenerife South was forced to make an emergency landing this Tuesday October 15.
The emergency landing was made on the Portuguese island of Porto Santo. Upon landing the emergency services were on standby to assist the passenger.
The flight, initially scheduled to land in Tenerife around 11.20am, resumed its journey at 12.28pm and arrived at 1.30pm.
The return flight back to Liverpool was therefore delayed and departed at 2.44pm instead of the originally planned 12.05pm.
