June 27 Free live music concert in Roldán to celebrate LGBT Pride

Keep the party going all night for this year’s Pride celebrations in Roldán

Late June is when most places in Spain and around the world celebrate their Pride events, coinciding with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride Month in honour of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising.

In the Murcia district of Roldán, they will be marking the event on Friday June 27 with a concert of live music in the Plaza de la Iglesia square, starting at 10.30pm.

‘Roldán con Orgullo’ (‘Roldán with Pride’) promises to be a “great night full of music and colour,” according to the local Councillor for Equality, Julia Albaladejo.

There will be performances the group Las Supremas de Móstoles and the Murcian artist Kuve, plus DJ Juan Lights and drag artist Samantha Ballentines, who will liven up the event with fun activities for the audience to enjoy.

Roldán con Orgullo is an annual commemorative event organised by the Department of Equality for the Ayuntamiento de Torre Pacheco, with the collaboration of several establishments. This year, La Whiskería and La Cervecería de Roldán are collaborating.
