Lorca launches online platform to buy tickets for Easter events
Both holidaymakers and Lorca locals can also purchase tickets for different events organised throughout the year
Lorca’s renowned Easter celebrations are stepping into the digital age with the launch of Tikyoo, a state-of-the-art ticket sales platform developed by the Paso Azul brotherhood. This platform now enables visitors and locals alike to purchase tickets for the spectacular Holy Thursday and Good Friday Biblical-Passion parades in 2025.
This advanced platform streamlines the ticket-buying process for the parades and other events organised by the brotherhood that will be held throughout the year. The goal is to enhance the experience for everyone attending Lorca’s Holy Week, whether they are residents or visitors.
Tickets can be conveniently purchased via the ‘Holy Week Tickets’ sections on the official websites of Paso Azul, Vive la Pasión, Museo Azul de la Semana Santa and Lorca Turismo.
Tikyoo, which is a tool that has been created by one of the stewards of Paso Azul, symbolises the union between tradition and innovation, explained Lorca’s Councillor for Digital Transformation, Antonio David Sánchez.
He congratulated Paso Azul for the “launch of Tikyoo, a digital platform that marks a before and after in the management of the sale of boxes for our Holy Week and the activities carried out by the brotherhood throughout the year”, and he highlighted that “this project not only modernises the ticket acquisition system, but also positions Lorca as a modern and intelligent city, which knows how to combine tradition and innovation, something essential in the digital world in which we live”.
“I am convinced that Tikyoo will not only facilitate access to the biblical-passion parades for people from all over the world, but will also be a reference for other digital initiatives linked to the promotion and conservation of our Holy Week and its heritage,” he concluded.
With Tikyoo, Lorca’s Holy Week is set to be more accessible than ever, ensuring that this treasured celebration can be enjoyed seamlessly by an even wider audience in 2025.
