Murcia weekly weather forecast February 24-March 2: Another warm and sunny week... until the weekend!
Nights will get warmer as the week goes on but the days are forecast to turn colder with a burst of rain at the weekend

Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) weather forecast for the Region of Murcia this week beginning Monday February 24 indicates a similar pattern to the previous week, with fine and sunny conditions dominating until the weekend, when rain is expected to arrive.
For Monday February 24, Aemet forecasts mainly sunny skies with some high cloud cover and only light winds. Minimum temperatures will be around 4-6ºC in the north and 7-10ºC in the south of the Region, while during the day it will get up to around 17-21ºC across the whole province.
As the week goes on, these temperatures are likely to change, with the night-time lows rising slightly up to 6-7ºC by the weekend and maximums during the day dropping to 16-17ºC by the week’s end.

On Tuesday 25, too, it will be much the same, with some light cloud cover, perhaps heavier than on Monday towards the late afternoon, but dry and calm conditions overall.

Wednesday 26 will be much clearer and sunnier once again, a beautiful day in southern Spain, while Thursday 27 brings a bank of dark clouds rolling across the Region in anticipation of rain to come.

Aemet currently forecasts rain for next Friday February 28, covering the entire Region of Murcia in the afternoon and bringing some slightly stronger northeasterly winds to the coast of Cartagena and Águilas of around 20-25kmh.

Friday night will be dryish, before a renewed downpour on Saturday March 1, even stronger than the day before and lasting into Sunday 2 as well. The rain will be accompanied by windspeeds of up to 30-35kmh on the coast, though most central and inland areas should not be too windy.
