ARCHIVED - New Covid restrictions from October 1 in Andalusia
President of Andalucía states health districts on alert level 0 will no longer have any restrictions for hospitality businesses

The regional president of Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, has announced that all anti-Covid restrictions will be lifted from Friday October 1 in Health districts which are currently in alert level 0 (low risk), plunging around half on the region into a new normality.
Low risk areas will no longer have mandatory closing times for bars, restaurants or other businesses. Although there aren’t currently any areas of Andalucía in alert level 0, the new risk map which will be updated on Thursday September 30 is expected to include approximately half of the region’s Health districts, as Covid figures have maintained a steady decrease in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, from this Thursday, the occupancy limit is going to be removed for both alert level 1 and alert level 0, meaning that venues can host events such as concerts, theatre performances and local sporting competitions at 100% capacity.
Although, low risk areas will be free of restrictions, the regional president insists that mask-wearing, social distancing and personal hygiene measures should still apply for everyone.
Another change from October 1 is the return to in-person appointments and activities at Primary Care centres across Andalucía, although telephone appointments will still be available.
