No more storms until Friday: Murcia weekly weather forecast May 19-22
Temperatures rise up to truly summery heights at the start of this week, with glorious sunshine forecast from Monday to Thursday
Murcia weather forecast, Monday May 19
After a couple of weeks of intermittent rain and storms, and even some hail in the Region of Murcia, the beginning of this week is forecast to be bright, sunny and warm, according to the predictions from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
Monday morning, May 19, is forecast to be a bit cloudy, but the cloud cover shifts away towards midday to make way for a sunny day with temperatures reaching up to 31ºC in central parts of the Region.
These mainly sunny but partly cloudy conditions will continue all week long until Thursday May 22, as will the high temperatures, which will max out at 31-32ºC in the centre, 28-31ºC in the north and 26-29ºC on the south coast.
Minimum temperatures at the coolest part of the night will be in the low teens for the northern half of the Region and in the high teens for the south.

On Tuesday, some slightly stronger windspeeds of up to 30kmh could be felt around Alhama, Mula and Cieza, but for the most part it will not be too windy this week, especially along the coast, with windspeeds barely surpassing 15 kmh.
Temperatures keep rising until Thursday, but then on Friday May 23 Aemet is forecasting a morning of rain that will see temperatures plummet by as much as 10 degrees Celsius, so don’t be surprised if that weather system comes with an electrical storm which discharges all the pent-up tension in the air.
