Known throughout Europe as the ‘Polish Primark’, fashion giant Pepco will open one of its few Spanish stores in the Vialia shopping centre, which is situated right next to the Maria Zambrano train station in Malaga.

In addition to Malaga, the company plans to open no fewer than 40 retail outlets throughout Spain as part of its national expansion, and has already proved to be a hit in Alicante, with a second store added earlier this year and in Murcia city.

According to Vialia sources, Pepco carries “a wide variety of products with very competitive prices, ranging from clothing for adults and children, accessories, home decoration items, textiles and stationery, to cleaning and toys and educational products”.

The brand’s most lucrative market is in children’s clothing and Pepco claims to be the biggest supplier of clothes to under 14s in all of Europe.

“Having Vialia Malaga have a 'low cost' European reference such as Pepco positions us on the map of trends", the source explained.

Pepco first launched in Poland in 2014 and the company currently has around 3,000 stores throughout Europe. Spain is currently home to 52 of the budget brand’s stores.
