ARCHIVED - Three arrested for kidnapping and torturing a waiter in Marbella
The victim was working as a waiter at a luxury villa in Marbella, Málaga, when he was accused of stealing and held captive for four days

The Guardia Civil in Málaga have arrested three people for kidnapping and injuring a waiter who worked for them at illegal drug parties hosted in luxury Marbella villas.
Those involved in the kidnapping worked across the Costa del Sol organising illegal parties in which they distributed different drugs and displayed firearms.
The drugs sold at the parties include MDMA and pink cocaine, as well as balloons filled with nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, which recently caused a young Swede to fall and drown in a Marbella pool.
At the end of one of these parties, where the victim was working as a waiter, one of the kidnappers accused him of stealing money, after which he was beat, cut, threatened and held captive for four days.
They also tied him up and used him as a ‘spectacle’, taking him to several different villas. The criminals demanded that the waiter pay them 10,000 euros in cash, which the victim’s dad transferred to his bank account.
The victim finally managed to escape from the garage he was being held in by ramming his car into the garage door.
When he reached the Guardia Civil police station in San Juan de Aznalfarache (Sevilla), he had a cut on his face, carved in the shape of an ‘M’ with a penknife, as well as several other cuts and bruises.
Officers have since raided two properties and found MDMA, pink cocaine, cylinders full of nitrous oxide, false documents, several prepaid phones, various airsoft weapons, two extendable fenders and two large machetes.
All three of the detainees have been charged with drug trafficking in the past and the Guardia Civil have not ruled out further arrests.
