January 4 Free Roscón de Reyes cake in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Cartagena
The festive spirit reaches Cartagena Town Hall as festive cake is distributed in the city centre
Two huge traditional Roscón de Reyes cakes, the preferred confectionery of associated with the Three Kings in Spain, will be served without charge on Saturday January 4 at 11.00 in the Cénit shopping mall in Cartagena and at 17.00 in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
In part this is an initiative to thank shoppers for their custom as the last batch of Christmas presents approaches, but at the same time the Town Hall assures members of the public that it is also a festive gesture – in other words. It comes from the bottom of their hearts!
The cake in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento is followed by live entertainment and a concert from El Sitio de mi Garaje.
