The fatalities were distributed across the region’s eight provinces, with 10 in Málaga, eight in Sevilla, eight in Almería, four in Granada, two in Cádiz, two in Córdoba, two in Jaén and one in Huelva.
Recoveries: the latest update reported a high number of recoveries; 4,601 people have been given the all-clear in the past 24 hours.
