April 11 The Youth Orchestra of the Generalitat Valenciana in concert at the auditorium in Aguilas
Emerging music talent on display at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena on the seafront in Águilas
A series of four concerts by youth orchestras from southern Spain is being held in Águilas between September 2025 and April 2026, the third of them on 11th April featuring the Youth Orchestra of the Generalitat Valenciana under the baton of Isabel Rubio.
The cycle was officially presented by musical director Isabel Rubio and Councillor José Antonio Consentino, and tickets for this concert, which begins at 20.00, will be made available at 6 euros online here in due course.
Tickets may also be purchased from the Museo Arqueológico y Casa de la Cultura Francisco Rabal, and season tickets are also to be sold at 20 euros for all 4 events.
The other concerts in the cycle are the following:
September 20: the Granada Youth Orchestra
March 14: the Ciudad de Murcia Youth Orchestra (OICM)
April 26: The Youth Orchestra of Torrevieja (JOSET)

Águilas boasts 28 kilometres of coastline, with many fine, sandy beaches, sheltered coves and unspoilt natural beaches. Throughout the year the tourist office runs monthly guided tours and the route of the railways, which explores the railway history of the town.
The tourist information office is located in the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos, just a short walk from the sea front and Plaza de España, a cool, shaded space in which to enjoy a coffee.
